Well my craptastic team just outscored the entire league this week, getting me to 2-2. Which isn’t much, but it is 2 games ahead of Jules, so that’s something. Furt had the fun time of scoring 2nd most points in the league this week and losing anyway. ---

Well, there are non-head to head leagues, where you either just shoot to have the highest total score at the end of the season or get points based on how many teams you would have beaten in any given week. It’s just a breakdown, though: it tells you how good or bad your team _actually_ is. For example, furt lost this week but would have beaten everyone else - so while he’s officially 0-1 on the week, he’d be 12-1 on the week on that metric. ---

Ellis Dee wrote a program that would track your record like that, if you faced every team every week, except it did it across several leagues (and also did the gm/coaching grade thing with started/unstarter players) which makes it an interesting tool for overall SDMB results. I haven’t been doing it this year because the input process isn’t a big deal for one league, but I’ve been in 6 so it’s been overwhelming. Actually, maybe I should split the job up, and have one person post each league this week and every once in a while we combine our data for cross-league stats. Let me play around with it again and figure out if that’s viable. ---

If it makes you feel any better, you’d still have been crushed. James Jones would have put you at 72 points, so the Houston D would have to outscore Andre Johnson and Owen Daniels by 13. Not that it’s not possible, especially against Sanchez… just unlikely. ---

Fuck Greg Little and everything he stands for. I switched from Nate Washington to Greg Little because Washington had some injury concerned and with 2 Browns receivers out I figured they’d have to pass to little - and then I lost the game by fucking 0.06 points. Anyone else on my bench would’ve got a win. My team sucks, so being lucky enough to jump out to 3-2 would’ve been awesome, but I missed it by .06. Damn. ---
