Did I miss the keeper deadline? I thought it would be through 8/29, meaning I could pick them today. How are eligible keepers determined? Several of the rounds in my eligible keeper list are skipped - does that mean dragonash cut those players in the year, or they were already kept twice? Is there any other reason I’d lose out of players? Is DeSean Jackson not keepable, for example, because he’s already been kept? ---

Woops, noticed Jackson was drafted in round 2, hence unkeepable. And I can’t keep Floyd because he wasn’t on the final roster. I’m in a crappy position - the team was good enough to have a bad draft slot, but not really worthwhile keepers. ---

Keeping Stafford with 3.9, Gerheart with 13.9, Akers with 14.9. Yes, I kept a fucking kicker. Nothing else to use it on, and at least he’s a good kicker. ---

There are plenty of teams in this league’s history that have won it all with zero keepers. The rest of us are just that bad. I managed to finish fourth a couple years ago with the top 3 RBs of the season - it was a tremendous accomplishment! ---

In 2006 I finished around 10th despite having the most points (by a fairly wide margin). I believe it was karma for starting Marques Colston at TE (Yahoo didn’t know what position he’d play in the NFL so you could play him at either TE or WR). ---

When I won in 2009 I kept Aaron Rodgers in the 6th and Roddy White in the 4th. Then I had MJD with the 2nd overall pick and lucked into Thomas Jones’ age-defying 1400/14 for the Jets – everything else was standard, everybody stayed healthy, and that was all it took. Fudge. I think I know mostly which team belongs to who but I’m not 100%. If everyone could post their team name so I can put in your keepers manually (since almost nobody put them in themselves, you lazy sods) that would be _awesome_. ---

Crabby, you selected Ray Rice as a keeper in your settings, who isn’t eligible. I assume, based on the above, that you meant Bush and made the change. Let me know if you didn’t want to keep him or wanted someone else. ETA: never mind the unsure thing. I can see which team the players are on. :smack: ---

Don’t worry. It’s locked out now because the deadline was apparently “as soon as it’s 8/29” rather than “the end of 8/29” so I am inputting everything manually. In **furt** ’s absence, I am putting in Stevan Ridley as his sole keeper based on [this post from a couple of weeks ago](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showpost.php?p=15183142&postcount=15) (and the clarifying one that followed it). ---

Okay, here’s the final keeper list. Please review and let me know if anything is wrong (or if you just want to change something; since the deadline was a day earlier than we thought I’ll take changes until midnight). The number is the round that keeping the player will cost, not the round he was originally drafted. Double check those too because I had to do them manually for each player by reviewing last year’s draft results. I also checked each player’s eligibility (ie., drafted in rounds 3-16, never dropped), including those you guys entered yourselves. The only error I found was Torrey Smith (free agent pickup, not drafted). If you traded picks with someone, it would be awesome if you could post a chart like this. I tried inserting the pick trades and keepers into the draft order just now and my head exploded.
