No. She was shot cause she was a very effective [ISPR propaganda](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inter-Services_Public_Relations) piece and they stupidly forgot about protecting her when the [Swat Operation ended.](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second_Battle_of_Swat).

No I don’t think those are inconsistent. Does not change the fact that when she was shot in Autumn 2012, it was 3.5 years past the end of Taliban domination in Swat and she was targeted because she was a soft target who most had forgotten about by then.

Don’t get me wrong, the work she did before then was fantastic, she appeared on TV and she was an important symbol of Federal Government [uplifting the region](https://tribune.com.pk/story/309285/national-peace-prize-to-be-named-after-malala-yousafzai-gilani/), but this forum is meant to combat ignorance and that what you have written is that.
