I was surprised recently to see Imelda Marcos on birthday lists: 89. Old Ferdinand died almost 30 years ago. Looks like she might hang on as an embarrassing reminder like Soong Mei-ling (Madame Chiang Kai-shek) who lasted until 105. ---

Every time I see a documentary narrated by David Attenborough I think, ā€œAw, this must be the last one he made before he died.ā€ One day Iā€™ll be right, but it wasnā€™t today. Or maybe it was, now that I think about it. Anyway, heā€™s still marveling at nature. ---

Checked on Anna Chennault. Turns out she died in march of this year. As far as Iā€™m concerned she should have been tried for treason as American soldiers died because of what she did. ---
