People have mentioned that Keith Richards is still alive. That’s a pretty standard thing to wonder about. The really interesting fact is that Mick Jagger is 74 and has a four-year-old great-grandchild who is older than his youngest child. ---

**William Russell** , who played Ian Chesterton—one of the companions in the very first _Doctor Who_ episode in 1963—is still alive, aged 93. So is **Carole Ann Ford** , who played Susan, but that’s less impressive; she’s only 78. **Jacqueline Hill** , who played Barbara, died in 1993. I still kind of hope that they’ll managed to bring Ian back on the program for one more episode, before we lose him… ---

All of the original singers from the original 1968 Concept Album of Jesus Christ Superstar are still alive 50 years later. As are composer and lyricist Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice. They should all get together and redo it. ---

Shatner still does comic cons, he’s in town here this weekend along with Chekov/Walter Koenig who is 81 - and Koenig has been married to his wife for 53 years. ---

All five of the women who were on the British TV show "The Avengers: are alive. Julie Stevens (Venus Smith) is 81 although for some reason people are reluctant to list her Honor Blackman (Catherine Gale) is 92 Diana Rigg (Emma Peel) just turned 80 Linda Thorson (Tara King) is 71 from the 1970s sequel Joanna Lumley (Purdey) is 72 It’s the male actors who have died Ian Hendry (first season when he was the lead), Patrick MacNee , Jon Rollason and Gareth Hunt From “Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea”, “The Fly” as well as playing Felix Leiter in two James Bond films, David Hedison is 91. Allen Hunt, who played Riley the second season may be the only other cast member still alive. I think military service took him off the Seaview ---

all the original members of The Seekers , a folk/pop band from Australia in the 60s are still alive. Very rare for a 60s group to have all original members alive now. ---

While not a partner (in the non-romantic sense) of either Dr Keel or John Steed, it was Peggy’s murder that brought the two men together and launched the series. Kate was also a guest star in the Cathy Gale episode “Propellant 23.” Interestingly, she would eventually marry (and divorce) Patrick MacNee (making her his partner in the romantic sense 🆒 ). Kate died in 2013 at the age of 75. ☹ ---

A number of the early 1960’s folk singers are still alive: Tom Paxton, Joan Baez, Judy Collins, Joni Mitchell and Bob Dylan come to mind. ---
