I tried to edit to add I could only find old Dorp used in general reference to old towns, but not as formal neighborhood/town/regional names. For a good old portentous name try [Spuyten Dyvil](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spuyten_Duyvil,_Bronx); there’ gotta be some evil afoot in neighborhood with that name. ---

When I pulled up the Washington Post article, there was a headline that said “Man Beats Peacock He Says Was Vampire” and a photo a couple of paragraphs below of Barbara Bush kissing Tiger Woods.
