You think that thread’s unsettling? At least none of us actually know you two, and you never have to actually hang out with any of us. Try coming home from work to find that he’s apparently been discussing your gynecological issues with a co-worker’s girlfriend…on speakerphone…in front of other co-workers you’re expected to socialize with. To be fair, the girlfriend in question is a gynecologist, but she’s not _my_ gynecologist, and my birth control options and problems are nobody’s business but mine and my gyno’s, and tangentially his. I understand how you feel, though. There’s always this little voice in the back of your mind wondering what _else_ he’s been telling people about your personal life. I actually felt the need, after having him check out this weird bump in the nether regions, to specifically warn him not to tell people at work about it. He seemed offended by the warning, but if my birth control history can “just come up” at a party, there’s no telling when a discussion of genital pimples might come up, and I’d really prefer he not enliven any such discussion. ---

We’re not a bunch of internet addicted, cyber stalking, sex depraved nutjobs getting their jollies out of reading outhe peoples sex lives. …well, I havent been here too long so I dont know if I belong yet… 😛 anyways, what I meant to say is your identity here is secure. We dont know you in real life ans there is no way that any of this can easily get back to you so your anonymity is your greatest protection.
