# Heading to Portland, Maine

Many. They were pulling two traps up at a time, maybe 8 total, and there was a keeper or two in each. The people on the boat could replace the bait (I declined that honor).

You could buy the lobster for $10 and then take it over to the Portland Lobster Co., where for an additional $12 or something, they would boil it and add the usual corn, etc.

Thanks! It would have been nice to see a museum or two, but after visiting 8 or 9 microbreweries, I didn’t have the right mindset.

Waaahhh, I missed this thread! I was in Portland on that Saturday too…waiting for a new flight because United canceled pretty much everything into and out of PWM.

Awesome! Yeah, that would have been a great chance. (At least I discovered that I really prefer a late afternoon flight for heading home – no rushing on the morning of departure!)
