(a propos of nothing, a Google search on “napkin sandwich” only leads to **curlcoat** ’s insanity. Oh, and a variety of burger restaurants boasting theirs are “N napkin sandwiches”, N\>2. Presumably this is a size boast, but who knows ? Maybe they’re advertising their handouts to poor folk. Come to burger king, home of the 5-stage napkin sandwich !) ---

That’s very funny, **Kobal2**. But it’s Wendy’s that has the 5-stage napkin sandwich. Burger King’s is _called_ the Wiper, but it’s really only a double-decker. And Carl’s Jr. has the six-cent napkin sandwich, made with a cloth napkin (well, a Handi-Wipe). ---

That was what I did when she first brought them up, to try and find out what the hell she was talking about. The way she stated it, it seemed like it should have been some well-known expression. But, nope, it’s apparently a native curlism, which she then just assumes everyone else understands, 'cause hey, she’s the center of the universe and the arbiter of all that is normal. Missed the edit window, but I wanted to add: It is astounding to me that there is a rule against misquoting someone, but there is not a rule against blatantly lying about what you yourself said earlier. Quit being a weasel and either back up what you say or correct yourself for having said something wrong, jerk. ---

Well, there kinda is, in a way. Difference is that the penalty for breaking it is, instead of getting warned or suspended or banned, you get your nose rubbed in it, for the amusement and pointing-and-laughter of all and sundry. And the _GREATEST_ thing about that penalty is that _anybody_ can carry it out. No need to report it to a mod. Plus there’s no statute of limitations on it. 🙂 ---

Your “what ifs” are fun too. How can anyone say what they would have done had something happened to them over 30 years ago? I can only guess, but I assume had I broken a leg or needed surgery, I’d have gone back to my parents and put up with the abuse and neglect. Pregnant? Apparently, you also are unable to read, or retain what you do read. I _did_ get an education and I _do_ have more saved than the average person in this country does. (Dunno if it will be enough to cover all the new taxes tho) As for my health, how I lived from 18 to 23 had zero impact on that. It’s amazing how you think you know anything at all about that. ---
