Insurance companies are no more “evil” than any other company that tries to maximize profits in every way possible – which is every business in the history of capitalism.

Well, except for the fact that we’re talking about something like life and death here. People are dying because they can’t get healthcare, then yeah, that’s pretty evil. Wanting to maximize your profits by selling pizza, that’s one thing. Want to maximize your profits by providing people with treatment for cancer? That’s another.
