# Heard & McDonald Islands -- why a top level domain?

I REALLY wish Trump had included the [Republic of Howland, Barker and Jarvis Islands!](https://www.crwflags.com/fotw/flags/um!rbhj.html)

It was one of the first web sites I ever found, and I was amazed by how comprehensive the WWW could be. RHBJI had a robust web presence: pages devoted to history, a live weather station, and lots of tourism advice (even links to the different luxury hotels on each island).  
   
Of course, it was all fictional. Which made it even more impressive.
