> My health insurance pays a big part of the cost so my out of pocket might well differ from your final price. My final cost was just above $1250.00.

What makes these devices so expensive? I have a freaking [drone](http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EXBDZK4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) with built in camera and transmitter that I paid less than $50 U.S. for. Of course, it isn’t small enough to fit in my ear … yet.

What? Wait a minute! What if I could have a drone with microphones Bluetoothed® into my hearing aids?🆒 Maybe I could have heard what Robert Cray and John Hiatt were singing at the last concert I attended. Think of that, John Hiatt with a little flock of drones overhead!
