I’ve been watching a walkthrough of Heavy Rain and it seems like a very cool game. Unfortunately, it’s a PS3 exclusive so I was wondering, is there a similar type of game available for the Xbox 360?

If you don’t mind the story of the last third of the game, Indigo Prophecy is a primitive version in the same style (though in no way the same story structure, Indigo is way more supernatural). It should be available on XBL under XBox originals.

Other than that… I don’t think there exists a game in the same style, it has to be one of the very few unique game types out there.

Warning: Indigo Prophecy is really good until it gets really bad. I mean, it’s actually become something of a legend for how insane the later sections become. I think the writers ran out of ideas, so they simultaneously watched The Matrix, Tron, The Da Vinci Code, some porn, and several other movies while baked out of their gourds to finish the plot. And technically it never finishes, either.
