not Hebrew

It might be some form of Yiddish, but the language definitely has nothing to do with Hebrew.

Yiddish. I don’t speak it, but can see that the last words are “a guten tag” (good day).

Adding: FWIW, Google translates it as

_How is Gisheptinur?_

_Sow the truth_

_Good as gold in the ground with the berries_

_A good day_

Yeah, Yiddish makes more sense. The movie: [The Rag Man (1925\_](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0016258/reference/).

You can see the exchange [here](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d4BWflsYHoU) starting at 14:35.

\*Best known to my generation as the crazy man who lives in the abandoned house, who terrorizes the gang in the Our Gang short [Moan and Groan, Inc.](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0020179/reference/), who have come to dig for treasure rumored to be buried there.

I do not know a word of Yiddish, but we can try to do better than that.

The first line, transliterated, is something like
Wie is Geschäft… nur sagt[??] dem emeth [= truth in Hebrew]

So, perhaps, something like “How is business? Now tell the truth.”

next card: "gut wie Geld… in der Erde mit die [???]
Good as money in the ground with the ??? [buyers?]

final card:
“A guten Tag”
Good day!

You’ve likely figured out the the Yiddish placards are immediately translated, though perhaps not idiomatically. I looked up “business” in Yiddish, and it’s געשעפט, so that makes sense as the root. Not sure about the gold/berries thing, but it sounds like it could be a pithy Yiddish saying.
