From another thread about what he might be renamed: Because of all the red herrings he offers to the gullible/hated news media daily (largest inauguration crowd, 5 million illegal votes, etc.), and for his hair dye color, how about Orange Herring? x 2, at least for the initials, OH OH. ---

OK, let’s make sure we know what’s going on here. The article is from Monday, right? And it says that governors sent letters to Trump on Monday, right? Isn’t it the case (and I’ll be happy to be corrected if I’m wrong) that the president can’t just “send in the troops” until there’s been a request from the local government? Well, I just watched the entire PBS News Hour tonight and there was not any mention of this at all. I’m just thinking if this is Katrina II, there might be something about it on the news. But I guess we’ll see what tomorrow’s news brings. ---
