We’ll have an embarrassment of riches in the Dem primaries and caucuses, and can afford to be a bit choosy. And I can’t think of a single Dem now running, or even mentioned as considering a run, who wouldn’t be an improvement over the incumbent. ---

I doubt if bernie was a member (but attending a rally or something maybe) but my point was the the GOP and the Kremlin never unleashed their hate fake news against him. Like they are starting with Biden. ---

I agree with this, as long as “your favorite” is not the same thing as “the candidate who most closely supports your ideology up and down the line”. I’m looking for the most electable candidate who meets certain minimum ideological requirements. That said, of course I’ll vote for any Democrat in the general, but I don’t want to risk that others might not do the same for certain values of loony lefty. ---
