Hegseth and Trump lie so often that, if a culling of the military happens, the press at most can claim that they weren’t told beforehand but there is no way in hell they could possibly claim to be surprised. ---

I heard, on good authority, that it was going to be an in-person “battlefield” promotion by Trump of Hegseth to _Sky Marshal,_ where Hegseth was going to lay out his plans for the invasion of Klendathu.
