40 is nothing. I’m forty now. I thought I’d be _verklempt_, but accepting it and realizing that I am comfortable in my skin is just dandy.
Plus, I get a little thrill knowing I don’t _look_ 40…

Welcome to your fabulous 40s! My friends and I found we all became much mouthier in our forties. I recently turned 50 and am still figuring out what that means.

**ivylass** : Yeah, I’m definitely getting more comfortable in my own skin. As it sags, the drapes and folds lay better. 😉 But I honestly don’t look 40 either. Of course that has more to do with having a big ol’ Moon Pie, baby face, but still. I’ll take it where I can get it.

Thanks everyone! It’s been a nice day. The Other Half took me out to our local Hole-in-the-Wall Mexican food place and let me spend a twenty at the Dollar Tree. Afterwards, I got a Cookies ‘n’ Cream malt at Braum’s and now I’m sitting here staring at the flowery present from my childrens (the pets that own me, that is – I love you baby Zen, Sagan, Indi and Toto!). 🙂 Plus you guys. Life is complete-ish today.
