I’ve always attributed my remarkable ear for good music to excessive marijuana consumption in my teens and twenties. Cocaine certainly gives a different perspective. It’s good for heavy beats and dancing rather than complex jazz or serious classical music, though. ---

I was a big fan of many, many party drugs while in my twenties. Addiction can be debated but I never fucked over anyone in my pursuit of a good time. So his “wise” advice is far from universal, I would say. ---
