1181 Do you mean that you pull the trigger and the whole cannister empties? Or that gas is released only as long as the trigger is held down? If it’s the latter, that sounds almost perfect. One of the things I’d also like to do is produce a series of props from a space that seems far too small to hold them.
1181 I am in your debt. A quick search reveals that the mini CO2 cannisters can be bought for 99 cents. Trigger valves seem to be about $20, but can be reused indefinitely. I should probably be able to get a package deal by purchasing the CO2 system, and unicycle repair together.
The things are small enough that I could actually fit a trigger and a CO2 cartridge in each shoe. I’d just have to work out some kind of hinged panel that would cover the trigger but could be lifted with a toe- or something like that. The cannisters and trigger valve are small enough to easily fit inside a jacket, under a shirt, and in my pants. Switching cannisters can easily be covered by fidgetting, noise making, and pretending to be unable to find what I’m looking for.
One thing to be cautious of is the extreme cold that occurs when the canister is discharged. It can actually cause thermal injury - sort of that “so cold it burns you” thing you might have heard about
Hopefully not at the bottom of the Marianas Trench.

Once. Last Year. I’m not sure how long because it turned out that my watch was not waterproof.
