I am enjoying this silly/excellent thread so much! Are S&G lyrics not the best? I mean really and literally, THE BEST. Better than anyone’s. 'Cept Dylan maybe. “…and the sign said the words of the prophets are written on the subway walls, and tenement-halls…” Hey what’s you-guys’ take on that one? I mean, a reference to grafitti, obviously, but…“prophets”? Just a carbonated bubble from my so-called mind… Anyone? ---
