so ive been to a few boards in my day and i have to say this board is not all that good my very first thread and i got hit with a message asking if i wanted to upgrade to the gold dong member account, what kind of greeting is that for a new boarder ok fair enuf your admin might need the cheddah to pay the bills but then i read the sticky saying that fun threads arent allowed cause they cost too much wtf so now redeem your board and tell me what is actually cool about it ---

One thing I like very much about this board is that we try to spell, punctuate, and capitalize properly most of the time. Seriously, though, it’s an amazing community of _beaux esprits_… even many of the ones who don’t agree with me 🙂 ---

Just so you know. “fun threads,” or “Game Threads” as they’re called by the mods and most of us, were generally frowned-upon because they created a lot of traffic but not a lot of ignorance-fighting content. For more on this I’d suggest searching for threads with the word “Predict” in the thread title, since there isn’t a way of which I’m aware to search for the thread named simply “a”. Obviously, having been here more than four years, I’m a bit biased as to the quality of this place, but I think you’ll find folks will give as good as they get (some will hug as hard as they hit:D). ---
