Hi, my name is Ryan\_Liam, just wanted to let people know who I am, I have to say, very interesting debates and threads on these boards excited to meeting new people and making possibly new friends. Heard alot about the site, from magazines and [Bored.com](http://Bored.com). Just love debates on the boards, they have substance and researched fully, so I know that I won’t have a dissapointing time here! Well, there you go. I hope you enjoy my company as I enjoy yours. 🙂 ---

Hi, Ryan. Being below 1000 posts, I guess I’m pretty much still a “newbie” here, myself. But I sure do have fun! My personal philosophy is to try to keep it civil. ---

Welcome to the SDMB! One thing you’ll find here is that people come from pretty much all age ranges (though I think the minimum age requirement is 15), and that it doesn’t particularly matter to most members what age others here are. Maturity and intelligence aren’t necessarily a function of age, and this sort of “anonymous” format allows us to interact with people who you otherwise might never meet. ---
