Welcome, **katphol**! Glad to have you here. I’m curious about your posts. Is there some reason you use a double-comma, or is it supposed to be a _mercha-kfulah_ chanting mark?
I seem to have a habit of hitting that comma to often and try to edit the extras out before posting but am not always successful with the editing. ---
Welcome, katpohl. If these guys get too annoying, just bounce 'em on their heads. (I’m soooo glad I joined back way back when. No ink for me. Or goats, either, thank goodness.)
Thank you for the welcomw and the advice . Do some of these guys really bounce if dropped ? ---
To jayjay, I think I got the Opal thing figured out , is it Opalcat ?
Yes and no. You are correct that the joke (such as it is, which ain’t much) refers to **OpalCat** , but what is supposed to make it funny is documented in the one and only post [here](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=320298). Which is probably worth a read on general principles. Oh, and . . . hi.\* \*That was directed at **katpohl** , not **Opal**. ---
