I ventured out in the Bitter Coldness to get my hair cut. My head is now ten pounds lighter. Note to self: must get car inspected tomorrow. The end of the month, she approaches, and my taxes and registration are due. The one good thing the NC General Assembly in Its Infinite Wisdom has done is make car registration and vehicle taxes due at the same time. A stopped clock and all that. ---

Here I am **Rosie**! I’ve been abed most of the day since my visit to the doc. I have walking pneumonia. This means I have a mild form of pneumonia that will clear up in a few days with some strong antibiotics. Hence the in bed thing. They kinda knocked me out. I’m due to take more in a couple of hours and will no doubt be back in sleepy land real soon after. Anywho, I’m supposed to stay home for at least the next five days. OYKW is comin’ with some pizza in a bit cause I have a gnawin’ and a cravin’ for some. I’m glad I have some appetite now. He’s gonna eat with me then get the heck out cause I don’t know if’n I’m still contagious or not. Apparently I have had this for two weeks now. GEEZ! Yays, boos, hugs, smooches (from afar), noogies, wedgies, trouts, chitlins, as needed, all around. ---

He was around me enough when I was feelin’ seriously awful bad and seems ok. Just don’t wanna take chances. Yes, plenty of fluids. Fortunately I am a water freak. ---

Thanks for all the happies! I feel so loved! 😃 I also got some email wishes, and a text and a phone call from my daughter, a card from my mom and a new watch from my sweetie. We went to Red Robin because I was due a freebie b-day burger, so that was supper. \*\*BBBobbio \*\*- 29?? It is to laugh. Today is the big 6-0! As I told my boss, if I’d known I was gonna live this long, I’d have taken better care of myself! 😃 And before I forget: _ **HAPPY KAI DAY!!!** _ I worked an extra 90 minutes to day to make up for not working the last 2 days. I’ll do an extra hour tomorrow if I feel like it. Having 2 days off this week made me miss retirement… And it didn’t help that it was FOUR FREEKIN’ DEGREES when I left for work this morning. C’mon spring!!! At least the week is almost over. ---

Sah-dog is making me crazy tonight. He is doing the stand there and stare at me thing because he wants treats. He’s had treats, and dinner, and part of my chicken, and more treats. He says he has to go out and then he doesn’t go out and comes back and stares for TREATS! I know the poor dog is old and getting senile but I’m beginning to think the senility is all an act so he can get MORE TREATS! ---

This is ludicrous. It’s not even 8pm and I’m nearly ready to fall asleep. Of course, it doesn’t help that the cat’s stomach is apparently on a different time zone from the rest of the household. She starts the “time for breakfast, Mom” campaign at least an hour before the alarm goes off. ---

Happy Firday! is it really firday? It’s cold, 7 degrees, with a projected high of 21. I’m supposed to go to out to lunch today but I have chills and a clogged up nose. I’ll see how I feel closer to lunch time. **Flytrap** Sah-dog doesn’t even run around the backyard, if I took him to Africa he’d just stand there and stare at me, for treats. **Doggio** I remember when he wouldn’t accept people food or treats. I had to encourage him to eat them because he’s sniff them and give me that suspicious look like he just _knew_ I was trying to poison him. One benefit of this new found treat hogginess is now it’s a lot easier to get a pill into him. Sorry you have pneumonia **Swampy**. I hope you feel better. I’m going back to bed.
