Home from much erranding. We had breakfast, went to the credit union to do some money business, gassed up the truck, went to Lowe’s for some lumber for **FCD** ’s current project, got a truck load of firewood from an Amish stand, unloaded everything at home, then dropped off the car to have the brakes checked - they’ve been making noises. Now we’re home and the snow is coming down like crazy. Just talked to my sister - they all got to the ship safely and she’s on her 3rd drink already. That’s my sis, who currently has her hair dyed the color of maraschino cherries! I’m going to sort some yarn, then maybe bake something, just because. The local Navy base has told everyone to go home 4 hours early, so had I gone in, I’d be on my way home now anyway. As for tomorrow, who knows? We’ll see when it gets here. Meanwhile, it’s snowing like crazy and the temps have been dropping and I’m glad to be inside. ---

We have Snowpocalypse! Due to this, I took myself out for my birthday early. I went to Luella’s and got some pulled pork with vinegar sauce. Mmmmm, vinegar sauce. Fried okra on the side and a glass of Cheerwine. True Carolina style, the way God intended. I figured if I was going to go :eek: **shopping!** :eek: today, I should reward myself. The Venezuelan-style tp emergency is now averted: there is the requisite unopened 12-pack in the bathroom as we speak. I reseated my hot water faucet so now there is no more dripping sink! Yay! Just got back from picking up the car - no probs with the brakes, and they didn’t charge us to look. They did say we’re close to needing tires, so that’s gonna happen next month before \*\*FCD \*\*drives back to FL. The snow is falling fast and thick now. We passed a car that had rolled over - they took a turn tooooooo fast. Fire truck and bambilance and police all in attendance. I stopped at the end of the drive to get the mail, and I had to back out and get a running start to get up the little slope - it’s slick out there! We’re staying put. I have a bag of chocolate chips in the pantry - I think they need to be baked into something, ya think?? ---

It’s snow and it’s so lovely being snowed in with everybody here. The HFH smells like a french whore house, she must bathe in perfume. Sah-son is hiding in his room to get away from my mothers bf. Anne Arundel County just called me to tell me it’s snowing and the temperature is going to drop. I ordered pizza, I figured they’d be working. ---

[This](http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Chocolate-Chip-Oatmeal-Cake/Detail.aspx?soid=recs_recipe_seed) is in the oven, except with pecans instead of walnuts because that’s what I had. The driveway is white, including the tracks I just made an hour ago. But the pellet stove is keeping things toasty, so there’s that. I’ll get back to yarn-sorting eventually. 😃 ---

I’m thrilled to know the tp crisis has been averted **Spaz**. Just don’t let it happen again, young lady :dubious: I am also happy to report the “No Snow” signs are doin’ their job. Oh and I did come in to irk. Matter of fact I’m there right now. I still feel kinda crappy. Still no fever, just an over all feelin’ of malaise and ick. Also, I don’t wanna eat. I had a pack of crackers for N.O.L. just cause I felt like I needed sump’n in my tummy. That sounds nummy **MOOOOOOM** but I still don’t wanna eat it, not like you offered to share or anything. Just sayin’. 😃 ---
