Hi Everyone! I guess I still qualify as a Newbie.It seems like I’ve been here two years not two months, but you know what they say about time flying and having fun etc. 🙂 I got on because I wanted to find out the answer to a question (now if I could just remember what!) and I landed here. Happens I have a copy of the first Straight Dope book, so as soon as I saw where I was I sorta went “Boing!” and dove in. I think I registered and posted in about five minutes flat. Lurk? What’s lurking?! I probably wore my welcome fairly thin, but so far no one’s slapped me down. (yet). I really like it here. Great people, interesting conversation. Gee, that sounds so …stuffy! Okay, this place rocks!!! Ah, much better! 😃 Anyway, thanks for the welcome. And thank you all so much for letting me join in. Sometimes I feel like a puppy looking for someone to let me come and play. I know at times I can come across as kind of know-it-all, and overeager. Just let me know if I’m being a pest, and I’ll try to get a grip! ---
