Half-assed cleaning up my computer, uninstalling various game demos and whatnot, and I accidentally uninstalled the driver for my speakers.

Creative T3000.

Can’t find the disc, and they don’t seem to have that on their site anymore (for driver downloads).

What can I do?

From what I can tell, the [Inspire™ T3000](http://us.creative.com/products/product.asp?category=4&subcategory=27&product=10329) is just the speaker system, and wouldn’t need drivers. I’m thinking you probably mean your _sound card_–the thing you plug your speakers into on the back of your computer. Do you know the model of that?

Ah, no wonder I can’t find the CD.

The sound card is part of the motherboard - the ASUS AV8 Deluxe.

So if I have to re-install the BIOS, does that mean I have to re-install everything else?

Oops. Grabbed the wrong link. [This](http://dlsvr03.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/socket939/A8V-E_Deluxe/Realtek_AC97_64(WHQL).zip) should be the right one. Sorry 'bout that!

You’re a lifesaver. Thank you very much for this.

This board is great.

Assuming your have more than once PCI slot try moving the sound card around to different slots.
