# Help an Iron Maiden neophyte start building his library.

And, you know, why would you post in a thread that clearly advocates listening to Iron Maiden, if not to get your rocks off by threadshitting?

Now, now. Don’t get me wrong. I practiced the art of the threadshit a couple months ago when I was but a serious n00b round these parts, but I’ve since all but given it up, as I respect the SDMB and the majority of its users too much to continue. But who am I to criticize? If it makes you feel all fuzzy inside to point and laugh at the great unwashed by actively taking the piss out of those who actually like a form of music that you consider to be beneath you, well, then, by all means: Continue.

First off, I’m not trying to “pimp” shit, since that blog is dead, so your attempt at assigning motive is flat-out wrong. You said you liked it, I linked to my explanation of why I didn’t like it. So you can go fuck yourself with your dickhead insults about being a “hipster music snob”. If you’ll notice, I was the first one who responded to you with advice. I like Maiden up to _Piece of Mind_ - the fact that I’m not a fan of their later work or a particular song doesn’t mean I’m threadshitting or acting superior. If it hurts your pussy when someone tells you what they think you should avoid when _you ask for recommendations_, the problem’s with you.

I did enjoy your last two posts, though, if only for the humor value of your calling me a snob while then going on to make the most condescending statements possible. Retarded.
