# Help! File Recovery?

I just accidentally threw a whole folder in the trash and nuked it. It’s got a lot of Photoshop files and scanned jpegs in it that will take me hours to reproduce. Is there any way I can get this back? I know I should have backed it up - that’s what I was in the process of doing when I totally screwed it up.

I am working on a Mac G4, OS 10.3.5.

Any help at all will be appreciated.

Does your virus protection software have a file recovery function? Alternatively, check under, IIRC, utilities at [www.tucows.com](http://www.tucows.com) for some file-recovery freeware, shareware, and commercial software. That’s all I can offer.
