Looks like we should consider putting tighter restrictions on who can enter a movie theater. No axes or pellet guns at a minimum. ---

I would have thought your postion would be that we need to address obesity before movie theater shootings. Because the number of people killed in movie theaters is really quite small. I think more people are shot in kindergarten classrooms than in movie theaters. So, it should go: 1) obesity and spoons, 2) screenings of movie goers, 3) background checks on kindergartners, 4) pools, 5) knives, 6) alcohols, and then, if there is time, maybe guns. Oh wait, buckets. Buckets should go in at #7. No, hammers. Alcohols, then hammers, then buckets, then maybe guns. ---

Pretty standard gun nut stuff: when presented with the facts they have a fact-free meltdown. Hey look, I have no problem with hunters or even adults who like to blow up shit in the desert. I just think that drug addled toddlers shouldn’t be able to buy stock up on carbines at your nearest criminally inclined gun show and that support for such policies is limited to those who aren’t firing in all cylinders.
