(B) Same as (A), but substitute “the ineffable wisdom of the Founding Fathers” for Jehovah. We Americans want and need our Free Press. … (D) People who think the First Amendment describes a “God given right” aren’t very smart. Humans are fallible and conditions change. If a free press, freedom of speech and freedom of religion are good, fine – debate them on their merits. Don’t just hide behind blither and blather that puts an 18th-century law on some special pedestal. ---

Liberals blame white Southern Republicans for America’s gun culture and gun crimes and testosterone poisoning and penis replacement and all that. But most gun crimes occur in big cities, usually run and populated by Democrats, and usually by poor black and hispanics. White Southerners aren’t responsible for gun violence in Oakland, Baltimore, Detroit, or Chiraq. The stereotypical white gun nut lives in a low population density rural area with low gun violence. ---

Except that white southern gun fetishists keep the gun culture alive and feed the guns to the rest of the country. Virginia is awash with guns and they bleed into DC. ---

Because it’s the truth. Lax gun law states allow for guns obtained illegally to be funneled to the blackmarket. The fact is, our gun policy is driven by white fear of blacks. These sad little men with their fantasies of using their guns to save the day and finally get the respect of their families and bang that hot secretary at work and hurting our nation. You gun fetishists do more harm to America than Al-Qaeda ever dreamed of; all because your deep seated self loathing and bigotry. ---

That’s a little confusing, where does one obtain a firearm _illegally_ from anyplace other than the black market? No, it’s not much of an IQ test, but it will eliminate those of the lowest IQ from getting a driver’s license … whereas they can buy a gun (and vote). California requiring a Hunter’s Safety course seems to me a prudent and responsible process that doesn’t interfere with our 2[sup]nd[/sup] Amendment rights.
