# Help! I have locked myself out of the SDMB

(I have tried emailing [webmaster@straightdope.com](mailto:webmaster@straightdope.com), and one of the mods whose email address I happened to have, with no reply.)

My problem is that I changed the email address in my profile, but accidentally entered the wrong address. Now I can’t post or search, I think because the systems is awaiting reply to a validation email it sent to the incorrect address.

How can I sort this problem out?

(sorry I had to create this sock to ask the question :o )
