I remember it being funny and there being nakedness. Winning combination for teenage me. I also liked that shortlived Pearl sitcom. ---

I remember an episode where the lead guy was having a fling with his ex-wife’s Mexican maid and the maid was smoking hot. I watched that episode three or four times just to see her, so her image was seared into my brain. She has since gone on to become quite famous. [Here it is! Actually, I really liked the show except that I don’t think I was the targeted demographic (one too many X-chromosomes). That said, Brian Benben is cute (yes-still cute, even on Private Practice) and he and Wendy Malick were real finds for relative unknowns. The part I remember, is not so much the nudity but the fact that the sex was so often hilariously bad. ---

This was a hilarious show. The nudity was just a bonus. When Comedy Central ran the series on the late '90s without nudity, it held up well. ---

It was on in Russia back in the late '90s or early 2000s. They called it _Kak v kino_, “Like in the Movies.” ---

I watched it in first run and thought it was funny. The running gag about Judith’s husband being incredibly famous was great. Also, series on premium cable were new and rare. And I thought the sex and nudity were fun; they were done in a way that was obvious that they were doing it gratuitously. One scene I remember is when Martin called his friend and they cut to him in bed with two topless women. Ha! Boobs for no reason other than we CAN! It was a simpler time.🙂 ---

Also I seem to remember that the show was created specifically for the reason of using the old clips. They threw the idea open: come up with a show that uses all these old TV programs we have the rights to. IIRC, there were a lot of clips using Ronald Reagan, who had recently (or still was; I can’t remember) been president. Was it Carsey and Werner, later of the Cosby Show, et.al., ultimately the writers/ creators? ---
