A few years ago, I rented a movie on someone’s recommendation. I mentionaed something about this movie to that person, and they have no recollecction of this movie at all.
If I remember correctly, it takes place in Ireland, probably in the 1950s-1960s. It is about a man whose wife leaves him, and the state takes his children because they didn’t have a mother. The main plot line is him trying to get his kids back. I vivdly remember the man’s daughter testifying before the supreme court.
Does anyone recognize this movie?
