I’m trying to track down a song that popped into my head today that I recall it being used as the TV theme song for PGA golf coverage in the early 1980’s. It was an instrumental with soaring strings and sort of a light disco beat. I remember also hearing it on the radio a couple of times, so I think it was a “real” song and not composed as a TV theme. I’ve done some Googling and it’s not The Masters theme, and I also found something that was used by CBS, but it’s not that either. Any ideas? Thanks. ---

You got me dead to rights, doc; “Fire On High” was **CBS Sports Spectacular** ’s theme in the mid-'70s. ---
