I have no idea on what type of music it is. Probably older, most likely rock (but maybe not, I don’t really know). I think we can safely eliminate hymn from the list.

It’s not verbatim what you have, but a very similar couplet occurs in Call Any Vegetable, from Frank Zappa’s Absolutely Free CD.

Could that be what you’re looking for?

That is it. It is th Zappa lyrics.

I shkuld kick myself, I have both **Absolutely Free** and **Just Another Band From L.A.** and _Call Any Vegetable_ is one of my favorite songs.
