# Help identifying a movie or video

It’s an odd story. It seems that a number of people who witnessed Christ’s execution are condemned to be present at disasters throughout history.

I believe that I may have seen two versions of this; one, maybe a video, and the other more lengthy (I remember in this one, two people having a picnic near the ocean fell into a chamber which included a statue of Christ surrounded by statues of the condemned people). In this latter version, one of the condemned was freed, for some reason. Maybe she did something good.

I found it to be an interesting theme and pretty good movie and am interested in finding it somewhere.
