I’m trying to remember the name of this quirky 'lil animated short film I saw dog years ago (like when I was 15-16, back in the early 80s). It was one of those shorts they showed on cable TV in between features, much like “Hardware Wars”.

It was narrated by Orson Wells. It was about a conflicted, unstable society where everyone went around saying, “I’m right, I know it, and _I’m proud of it_.”

The society was in a state of near collapse until one day someone said, “You may be _right_. I may be _wrong_.” From that point on, everyone began to examine their attitudes and discuss the source of their conflict, and they lived happily ever after (sort of).

It was actually profound in a quirky, cartoon-y way.

Sort of like saying, “You keep out of this, he doesn’t have to shoot you now?”
