Reviving this thread to help identify another wrecked car. It also has 3 or 4 little portholes so its a Buick. 1953 Buick. [http://images.classiccars.com/classifieds/170577\_11050378\_1953\_Buick\_Special.jpg](http://images.classiccars.com/classifieds/170577_11050378_1953_Buick_Special.jpg) Note the shape of the headlights, the hood emblem, and how the “road lights” fit into the bumper. But, the car did not have suicide doors. Wonder if this was customized? ---

Upon closer examination of the photo it looks like the rear door was opened past its normal position so it looked to me like a suicide door. It’s actually a normally mounted door that is out of position. I’ll verify the next time I’m back there. ---

The car I was trying to ID didn’t actually have suicide doors, it was a 53 Buick. ---

**LosMorans** There are two separate cars being discussed in this thread. The original question concerned a '37 or so Ford. Then the thread was bumped regarding ID on a '53 Buick. Had me confused also. ---
