# Help identifying this ... beetle?

Hello,

I just saw an insect I’ve never seen before in my house and managed to snap a very blurry photo of it. I’m guessing it’s some sort of beetle or mite, but I have no idea.

Well it didn’t occur to me to GIS for “2mm beetle” before posting. This seems to be a carpet beetle, but I’m not 100% sure yet. :smack:

Looks like a [Varied Carpet Beetle.](http://www.suburbanexterminating.com/pests/Varied-Carpet-Beetle-127.asp)

Time to call the exterminators.😉
