Following the Vancouver, BC - DFW dopefest, I went home and noticed there’s gum smeared on my black CK Khaki pants (right leg). ☹ This sucks. Anyone know how to get it off? jovius ---

Goo Gone will work. About 20 times cheaper per ounce is Naphtha. Any hardware store should have it in quart cans. I buy it by the gallon and use it for all grease an gum jobs for house and workshop and car. Cheap, evaporates quickly (must be used outdoors), and doesn’t ruin paint and plastics like acetone. ---

**Bare** was brief. But that does work: placing an ice cube on the gum and leaving it there for a while will freeze the gum, making it easy to chip off, and scrape loose any pieces that adhere. By the way, in view of some of the other risque threads on this board, I was relieved, on second reading, to see that the underscore was obscuring a lower-case g in the thread title, rather than the c that I thought was there on first reading. 😃 ---

I think I’ll try it with ice first and try to scrape it off my pants. If that doesn’t work, then I’ll try the Zippo fluid or Goo-Gone though I’m a bit worry what it’ll does to the fabric (e.g. would it leave white streak like cum?) Cheers, jovius ---
