# Help me appreciate public art.

You were, and I was prepared to level a “jerk store” comment at you. Thanks for clarifying your position, which is quite reasonable. The thing is, modern art is as much a hot-button topic on this board as Iraq or abortion. When dismissing modern art, you can save a lot of angry electrons by being clear upfront about what you mean.

And I grok the bit about public art – One should absolutely question the value of any art selected by a board of bureaucrats.
