# Help me create music with no talent!

(That is, I have no talent, but I want to create music. I don’t know whether the music has any talent.)
A couple of days ago, I downloaded a trial version of a program – _Music Maker 14_ from Magix Corporation – which allows me to hook up loops of drums, keyboards, guitars, etc., to create (semi)-original works of art, which will no doubt last for a thousand years or until I delete them, whichever comes first.
As it turns out, the program is a whole buncha fun, but there is a problem: the vast majority of the available sound loops work for trance, hip-hop, and electronica, with some rock/pop and a few world (mainly African and Oriental) music clips thrown in. Number of C&W pools: 1. Number of Celtic pools: 0. Number of Bluegrass pools: 0 (although I did make a killer sorta-Newgrass song with the one Country pool).
If you want more than that, you have to make your own sounds.
This is where the whole “lack of talent” bit me. If I could create sounds like that in the first place, I wouldn’t need the program so much.
Anyway, I’m looking for suggestions and opinions on other such software packages. I have downloaded the trial for _Acid Music Studio_, but I haven’t installed it yet; I will be headed for Disney World tomorrow for about a week; if I live through that, I’ll install it when I get back.
Is _Acid Music Studio_ any good? Does it have a greater range of loops? Is it easy enough for a moron (i.e., me) to use? Any other products to suggest?
