Professional AV installer here (I run a LOT of wire, and it has to look good)–plug the lamp into the bottom outlet. Use zip ties or velcro strips to deal with the excess lamp cord by making a small tight coil of cord and tying it tight. Put the power strip under the table, against the wall and parallel to the wall. Use zip ties or velcro for any excess cordage there. Bam.
Another idea! How about a Trompe-l’œil type effect. Get an artist to paint a mural on the wall incorporating the tangle of cords and making them look like they are part of the bigger picture. The bigger picture could very well be thousands of powercords.

Just make sure that the kitty litter in the box is not flammable. There is no smell quite like burning cat shit. Trust me on this.
Replace the floor lamp with a lamp attached to the wall. Then screw the power strip to the underside of the table. Problem solved and vacuuming became a whole lot easier.

There doesn’t seem to be a lot of room for concealment. Put a table there, and there’s not much room for the chair and for a person to sit in it.
