# Help me figure out where this song is from (instrumental sample only)

That melody is very familiar to me, but I have no idea where I’ve heard it before.

It kind of sounds like the guitar riff of “Are You Gonna Go My Way” by Lenny Kravitz. Kind of.

I didn’t find an exact match, but it sounds a lot like the music Jean-Luc Ponty has been doing for the last few years. Listen to [samples from here](http://www.amazon.com/Tchokola/dp/B00138J9CI/ref=dm_cd_album_lnk_alt?ie=UTF8&qid=1232888102&sr=8-38) and you’ll see what I mean.

Thanks for the link. That’s some pleasant music, but I’m thinking this song specifically is on a film soundtrack as well. At least, that’s my best guess as to where I may have heard it before.

The strings are a [garageband](http://www.apple.com/ilife/garageband/) preset loop, so I’m assuming it’s just filler music done with garageband.
