My memory is that it was possibly drawn by Mad Magazine cartoonist Sergio Aragonés. Possibly something like “A mad look at modern art.” The cartoon depicts people in an art gallery looking thoughtfully at a piece of art, which is a single pedestal in a room with a lunch box on top of it. Then along comes a janitor and takes his lunchbox. ---

I remember that cartoon too. It was probably late '60s–early '70s. Here is every edition of _ **MAD Magazine** _ from #1 to #550. Good hunting! \ ---

Clicking on the link supplied by Terenti is probably not a god idea. It’s almost surely a non-legit piracy site and they commonly have pop-ups and malware. That comic rings a bell with me too. I read bot _Mad_ and _Cracked_ when I was a kid, between '77 and '79 mostly. I’m thinking it may have been _Cracked_ as their mascot, Sylvester P. Smythe, was a janitor. ---
