Once it stains you will have a hard time getting it out. For concrete the best thing is to just let it age and get a patina naturally, stains and all. Same thing with butcher block. Concrete can crack if it’s poured or cured incorrectly. A good pour will include fibers in the mix that help minimize cracking to hairlines that rae nothing to worry about. That’s why a skilled installer is so important for these tops.

Luckily for you there are lots of natural stones in sandy nd creamy tones. Look for Colonial Cream, it’s a nice colour and looks great polished or honed.
