# Help me find a movie on DVD ?

So, I recently got back to the States after spending 5 months in France, studying, and I’ve been trying to keep my French brushed up by watching French movies, reading French books, etc. I had a friend suggest I watch “Chacun cherche son chat,” or “While the Cat’s Away” in English, and I’m trying to find it on DVD. So far I’ve only found it on [the French Amazon site](http://www.amazon.fr/Chacun-cherche-Chat-Garance-Clavel/dp/B000088FZH/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/403-0348646-2582837?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1182412081&sr=8-1), as a Region 2 DVD. I can play this using VLC on my computer, and can understand it well enough without subtitles, but I’d prefer to get a Region 1 DVD with English subtitles, so that I can watch it with other people or lend it out. [Amazon.com](http://Amazon.com) only has it on VHS, and I don’t have a VHS player, so that’s out. Does anyone know where I can order it online on DVD? If not, I’ll just import with [Amazon.fr](http://Amazon.fr) in a day or so.

I didn’t see it on Netflix.

I am blown away, though, that the region 2 DVD from Amazon doesn’t have multiple-language subtitles. Mon Dieu!

I looked on Amazon.ca, hoping to find it for the Canadian French market, but no luck.

Ah, both good ideas. Thanks for the help on this, I’m just going to order it from [Amazon.fr](http://Amazon.fr) and hope it gets from France to Alaska intact (about 1/2 my packages between the two places haven’t).
