# Help me find a poorly remembered song!

A couple days ago I heard a song in the store that I liked quite a bit. It was a woman singing - she sounded a bit like a cross between [Hope Sandoval](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hope_Sandoval) and [Macy Grey](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Macy_Grey). The only lyrics I know for sure are “You’re in control” which is repeated several times through the song. There’s also a line, something like, “I believed your lies” and something “all the time” but I’m not positive on those. The music itself sounded (I think) a bit like a mix of what Hope Sandoval does and Lenny Kravitz’s _Again_.  
Can anyone help a Doper out?

You might try ["you're in control" lyrics - Google Search](http://www.google.com/search?source=ig&hl=en&rlz=&q=%22you%27re+in+control%22+lyrics) to see if it helps.

I did - none of the ones that popped up fit. I thought if I couldn’t succeed with Google, maybe a Doper would know.
